Rugby Club (contact: hola@rugbyclub.net) is the controller of your personal data under the GDPR (EU), Law 25.326 (Argentina) and equivalent rules of your country.
We do not collect sensitive data, precise location or contacts, and we do not track you across other apps or sites.
Contract performance (account, polls, votes, feeds); legitimate interest (security, moderation, fraud prevention); consent (optional communications); legal obligation (retention under valid legal requests).
We do not sell your data. We use processors who handle it on our behalf:
Data may be processed on servers outside your country (e.g. the US); in that case the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid safeguard applies.
While your account exists. When you delete your account (Settings → Account → Delete account) your profile, polls, votes, likes, suggestions, follows, blocks, reports and your profile photo (from storage too) are removed immediately.
One single exception, which we spell out because we would rather be exact: advertising impression and click records keep an identifier that no longer points at any account. Once your account is deleted that identifier can no longer be linked to you or to any data of yours, so what remains is aggregate statistics and not personal data. It exists so the numbers already reported to brands stay true.
Technical logs rotate on short schedules.
You have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Deletion is available directly in the App; for everything else write to hola@rugbyclub.net. You may also complain to your supervisory authority: the AAIP in Argentina or your EU country's data protection authority.
The App shows brand ads interleaved in the feeds. It is first-party advertising: we do not share your data with ad networks, we use no advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other apps or sites.
What we do with your data for this: we choose which ad to show you based on the club and national team you declared when you signed up, and we record whether you saw it and whether you tapped it. Brands receive only aggregate results — how many people saw the campaign, what share were fans and neutrals, how many clicks — never your identity or your individual activity.
The legal basis is legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6.1.f): it sustains the service at no cost to you and uses data you gave us explicitly, with no profiling built from your behaviour outside the App. You have the right to object to this use at any time and without justifying it (art. 21.2): write to hola@rugbyclub.net and we will stop using your club for targeting. You will still see ads, but general ones.
The mobile app uses no cookies: the session is stored as a secure token on your device. The future web panel will use only a strictly necessary session cookie for authentication, which requires no consent. We use no advertising or third-party analytics cookies.
Hashed passwords, encrypted transport (HTTPS), restricted data access and active content moderation. If an incident affects your data, we will notify it as required by applicable law.
The App is for people 16 and older. If we detect a minor's account, we will delete it.
We will publish any changes here; if significant, we will announce them in the App.
